Before purchasing cannabis from a Louisiana state approved medical marijuana pharmacy, all patients must qualify for a medical marijuana recommendation first.
Outside of the enumerated conditions in the law listed here, a patient can also be recommended if “a physician, in his medical opinion, considers it debilitating to an individual patient that is qualified through his medical education and training to treat.”
